"Revolver Techniques on the Range and in Self Defense"
The Revolver Class is a combination of beginner and intermediate level training specializing just in wheel guns.  NO Semi Autos ALLOWED.
It covers the basics of safety, operation, and marksmanship before moving on to defensive revolver techniques.   It also incorporates some of the
information from the CCW class.   It is an intensive live fire session requiring hand strength and stamina.    It is offered to any adult age 18 or older
specifically interested in revolver training.   The Revolver Class is 5 hours long and costs $150.00 per student.  The class fee includes membership
to the range for the remainder of the calender year for the student and their immediate family.   You must preregister and pay in advance to be
included.    Each student will be required to supply their own 38 / 357 revolver and a minimum of 300 rounds of ammunition (mostly 38 target loads).
Additional or Alternative revolvers may also be available for some specialized practice.   A strong side belt holster is required for part of the class
but alternatives may be used for some of the training.    Those could be inside the waist band (IWB), cross draw, small of the back, ankle, or
shoulder holsters.    There inclusion is allowed to provide training in the good and bad aspects of these alternatives holsters.

Our Level III Couples Class is a hybrid blend of ProTEQ's Armed Response & Conceal Carry Classes. Students must meet these minimum standards....
 - BOTH Have graduated from a ProTEQ Level I Class or BOTH have tested out of such Class by demonstrating Safe & Proficient Mastery of their handgun.
 - ONE of the Couple has graduated from either ProTEQ Armed Response or Concealed Carry & the other can demonstrate the lessons taught in those Classes.

ProTEQ offers this specialized course to Couples age 18 & older focusing on training them to defend and survive as a team, relying on their joint capabilities
and shared resolve to repel any attack.  It deals with resolving life threatening scenarios in quick and effective fashions. The procedures taught require a serious
and dedicated resolve to learn the lessons, practice the techniques, and consider the results of repelling a deadly assault.  This specialized defensive pistol
class is limited to a small number of couples on a first come first serve basis. You must preregister and pay in advance to be included. This 4 hour class costs $220.00 per couple.   Students will be required to supply their own handgun and 300 rounds of ammunition. Minimum caliber will be 9MM. Revolvers are strongly
discouraged for this class unless the shooter can demonstrate sufficient hand size and strength to withstand the stress of firing several hundred revolver rounds
in a short time period.  A strong side, fixed shape, belt holster is required. Cross draw, small of the back, shoulder, ankle, or soft sided inside the waistband
(IWB) holsters are not allowed.  A top quality fixed shaped IWB holster (Example - Crossbreed) will be accepted if it allows easy one handed re-holstering.
An article of cover clothing (shirt, jacket, sweater) is also required as a prop in some of the shooting scenarios.  We prefer that at least one partner of each
couple attending the class has at least "applied" for a handgun carry permit within their Resident State.

This is a Level 2 Armed Response Class that concentrates on your Primary Weapon - a fighting rifle in a Carbine configuration.   It will include
training in transitions to and from your sidearm and thus is NOT a beginners course.    All students applying for this Carbine offering must have
successfully completed the ProTEQ Level 1 Armed Response to Criminal Attack Class or prove their handgun proficiency through extensive
testing in the practice drills utilized in that prior class.    This Carbine course will include instruction on different weapon platforms, sights,
accessories, slings, etc.    It will involve demonstrations and exercises in various carry modes & shooting styles.    You will learn methods to
clean and maintain, disassemble and repair, adjust the sights, estimate distances, clear malfunctions, and deal with stress.    Several shooting drills
will be run on the LE/M range at distances out to at least 150 yards.   Scenarios will be employed where you interact with multiple targets, hostages,
and obstacles demanding a variety of stances and movement over a limited time frame requiring you to make split second decisions.    The purpose
being to elevate the your blood pressure, simulate stress load, and judge your capability under pressure.   This Carbine Class is limited to a small
number of students on a first come first serve basis. You must preregister and pay in advance to be included.   This 4 hour class costs $140.00 per
student.   Students will be required to supply their own Carbine and 300 rounds of ammunition.   Minimum Carbine caliber shall be 223.   Minimum
handgun caliber shall be 9mm.   A strong side, fixed shape, belt holster is required.    A top quality fixed shaped IWB holster will be accepted if it

 "Carbine - Your Primary Weapon"
"Defense Scenarios to Test Your Skills"
This is an advanced Level III Class designed to Test your current skills and provide worth while training in how to defend yourself.     The Class
focuses on mindset and situational awareness to acknowledge and respond to deadly threat.      Registration in this Class requires successful
completion of a ProTEQ Level II Class such as Armed Response.    All students in this class MUST HAVE a valid & current handgun carry permit
issued by their Resident State.    Students are required to bring their primary carry weapon and encouraged to bring any secondary or back-up
carry weapons.    Students will need their holsters for all weapons brought and should bring various cover garments for presentation from
concealment drills.    Students will also need extra magazines and/or speed loaders along with their respective carry pouches.     Several varied
shooting scenarios will be employed through out the class on a variety of stage setups.   Most will be presented in a surprise format and all will be
under the clock.   These scenarios will be designed to elevate the students blood pressure, simulate stress load, and require "on the go" reactive
decision making.    Each Scenario is a test in itself and will be discussed at completion.    If a Student desires to repeat the scenario that opportunity
will be allowed.   This level III Defensive Pistol Class is limited to a small number of students on a first come first serve basis.    You must preregister
and pay in advance to be included.   This 4 hour class costs $140.00 per student.    Students will be required to supply their own handgun(s) and
a minimum of 300 rounds of ammunition.    Minimum caliber allowed is 9MM.   Revolvers are strongly discouraged for this class UNLESS the
shooter can demonstrate (in advance) sufficient hand size and strength to withstand the stress of firing several hundred revolver rounds in a
short time period.   A strong side, fixed shape, good quality belt holster is highly recommended as the safest and fastest carry method for a
primary handgun.    That primary holster can be outside or inside the pants, but either way it must be a fixed shape model allowing one handed
re-holstering.    Cross draw, small of the back, shoulder, ankle, or other models of secondary weapon carry are allowed for your back-up handgun.

The Team Defense (Couples Class) - Surviving Side by Side
A TFO is an excellent resource for learning about the gun you want / need before buying it. The most important issue in buying the correct gun is
knowing how it shoots in your hand.   This TFO program allows you to test fire several guns without purchasing them.   We can provide several
dozen different handguns of various makes, models, styles, sizes, and calibers along with their related ammo.   You are allowed to handle and shoot
any of the guns present along with having your questions addressed.    Ammo is limited too a few rounds per gun until near the end of the session.
At that time you are allowed some extra ammo to help finalize your decision on the best gun for you.  Our guns are NOT for sale, they are available
for demonstration only.   This is NOT a class teaching you how to shoot only an opportunity for you to test fire (test drive) different handguns.    You
are instructed in basic safety and CLOSELY watched.   Each handgun is provided for dry fire and then is loaded by ProTEQ Staff for you to test fire.
The handguns you dislike are continually removed from the firing line until you find your preferred choice.
The cost is $40.00 per shooting participant.   You may bring one guest observer.    All TFO offerings are by Appointment Only.

 "Firearms Awareness I - FA1"
Firearms Awareness I (FA1) is an entry level class for the first timer providing only the bare minimum of knowledge about shooting a gun. This 2 hour ($60)
class is designed to provide basic information on the safe & accurate operation of your specific firearm. The class is limited to 2 students at a time to insure
detailed instructor attention. It’s taught on the Private Training Range (PTR) directly outside the Basement Office Door.   The Student should supply their own
gun and bring 50 rounds of ammo.    If you don't have a gun we can loan you one, but you'll still need to purchase the proper ammo.   The live fire portion of this
class deals with grip, sight alignment, and trigger press to obtain accurate slow fire shot placement upon simple dot targets.    There is NO Defensive Training,
NO Tactical Advising, and NO Presentation Demonstrations.    A better choice is the Basic Handgun Class which provides far more information and instruction.

both FA1 & 2 qualifies the student to take Level II ProTEQ Classes such as Armed Response or Concealed Carry   FA II is a 2 hour ($60) class limited to 2
